HOME

It’s been a week since I’ve been home! And seriously, it feels awesome! Nothing beats being in the company of my loved ones.

I haven’t had enough time to sit my bottoms down and do an update, but don’t worry it’s now under control!

Spent my first week going to the Universal Studios in Singapore, had staycation at the Hard Rock Hotel in Sentosa, had a quick bout of shopping done and … of course, stuff myself silly!! How can I resist? The food here is good & cheap! Ahhh, say hello to holiday weight.

I love love love roomy bags just cause I’m such a girl and have been trained to carry the ‘pharmacy’ (think wet wipes, sanitary pads, painkillers, Vicks etc) with me everywhere I go (except on lazy days/short trips) and the Coach Madison Leather Carryall was a birthday gift from my parents last year.

From here forth, it’ll be food ‘porn’ (still not too comfortable using this word … till I find a replacement):

Lucky Plaza’s Chicken Rice located on the 6th floor of the building is DA BOMB.COM (as Jeannie Mai would say)

I was sooo glad to have a bite of this cause KFC isn’t halal-certified in Perth (at least none that I know of). Yummmz.

We dined at The Chicken Rice Shop in Vivo City for our Father’s Day lunch before embarking on our staycation.

The tofu here is great!

Adam Road Nasi Lemak. I always buy from the second stall. Do you?

My favourite Hokkien Mee from Far East Plaza! <3

I’ve missed having froyos while I was in Perth (any good ones there?). Super thrilled to have it! This was my 2nd time in 2 days. Hahah. And no, I didn’t have both. The one with fruity pebbles belongs to my sis.

And of course, a trip back home wouldn’t be complete with Island Creamery’s Horlicks :D

Hmm … you can tell I’m a real chick. I absolutely love to eat chicken … except maybe honey chicken and bbq chicken.

Father’s Day dinner at Mel’s Drive-in, Universal Studios, Singapore. The place is 50s themed. Love it.

View from the room balcony.

I’m having such a blast here in Singapore, and there are soooo many things to be done.

Hopefully, I’ll get to them once everyone’s back to school/work next week.

It has to be said though, I miss Perth, and just lounging around in the apartment all day is completely a-ok with me. Here in Singapore, I always feel the need to go out. Otherwise I’ll be really grumpy and restless!

Missing my turtle too! (no, not a pet I own).

I know this isn’t really a post about fashion/style/vintage but I don’t really care, cause I’m home and I should spread some Singapore love. ( :

Have a good weekend, pockets!

xx,

Yes! Try it! There’s always a long queue during lunch time, so go at about noon or after 2! (:

Thank you for sharing your thoughts with me!
